Documenting a Pivotal Point in Life

I took these pictures toward the end of 2018. As I look at these photos, I'm reminded of a huge pivotal point in my life that helped me evolve into becoming the person that I am today.

Two months before this photoshoot, I resigned from my occupation working for Square. The company has had a huge impact on my life, and I'm extremely grateful to my manager for allowing me to work there. On my first day, I immediately knew that my conversations were not up to par with my peers'. Due to the influence of my colleagues and managers, I began reading books and listening to podcasts during my leisure. That helped me shift my mindset for the better, and I hope to use my knowledge to help others.

After I resigned from Square, I had more bandwidth and wanted to take professional pictures. A photographer reached out to me on social media and because I was eager to shoot for new content, I immediately agreed. The photoshoot went very well, and the photographer is extremely talented. Overall, because he did a phenomenal job, it left me with a positive lasting first impression of the creative realm.

This brings us here to two and a half years later as I'm typing this. I wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for the two series of events that happened in 2018 - one that has changed the way I perceive every aspect of life and one that has encouraged me to continue to pursue the modeling industry.
